| | | Bitten by the spirit of Entrepreneurship, HelloIntern.com was started in August 2006 by four undergraduate students of IIT Bombay viz. Abhishek Sharma, Jatin Jindal, Raviraj Jain and Snehal Nimje. The idea was conceived out of the own bitter experiences of the founders when they were in pursuit of grabbing internship opportunities for themselves as students. They found that getting a good opportunity was, in most cases, mainly pivotal on the one single question: "Do you have a JUGAAD in the company you are gonna apply for?".
Hence, HelloIntern.com was started with a clear vision: "To create a portal which serves as a complete platform for students to look for internships". We identify our key potential success factors as:
Valuing the Student's merit: To help the deserving students grab the best available internships and projects, ofcourse, without them needing to know an Uncle or Cousin who works with a recruiter
Simple & Cost-effective recruitment: To help recruiters gain easy access to the vast and enriched talent pool at an affordable cost
As a token of recognition, our portal was bestowed the honor of "Best Student Enterprise of the Year - 2007" by Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, NITIE - Mumbai. Besides, the initiative has also tasted victory in numerous business competitions whose experience has helped it cruise further with a greater impact!
